Why Concentric Methods?
At CM, we do more than fill jobs. We deliver a rewarding experience that results in the best possible outcome for clients, healthcare providers, and their patients.
With over 40 years of combined healthcare experience, our management team understands the dichotomy between traditional medical staffing and staffing for Government and military treatment facilities. To this end, we are intimately familiar with the various missions of our clients and are passionate about providing quality care for civilians, soldiers, retired soldiers, and their families. Our in-house knowledge, talent, and experience gained working within varied medical communities furnish an undeniable advantage to our clients.
Establishing fair and competitive compensation arrangements for health care workers is essential to providing uninterrupted, high-quality services for our clients and continued growth and success for CM. Accordingly, we offer financial incentives to attract and retain competent health care workers and provide incentives for outstanding performance and/or productivity.
CM understands that recruiting the right health care workers is vital to the day-to-day operations of a facility. Our recruiting strategy utilizes our professional recruiting staff and other professional recruitment organizations to continually identify fully qualified candidates. We achieve this by using a broad based, multimedia approach including: web-based site searches, print ads, direct mail efforts, staff referrals and professional organization contacts, both local and regional.
Interview and Selection Process for Staffing
CM utilizes a comprehensive interview process that includes extensive and multiple interviews, from both managerial and technical personnel.
Once a candidate is selected, CM begins a thorough and exhaustive credentialing process utilizing the required credentialing documentation.
CM utilizes Talent Management Suite, a software system that allows the CM to streamline its on-boarding process for new employees.
A successful retention program begins with recruiting. Accordingly, CM pays particular attention to matching the candidate’s characteristics to attribute to the needs of the facility. By ensuring a good match between the provider and the facility, we create a solid foundation for success and retention.
CM utilizes a detailed Integrated Project Management System (IPMS) for effective contract start-up and administration/management. Our eight-step IPMS process designs a comprehensive solution for any size organization, evolve your processes and workflow to become more streamlined, introduce automated processes that aim to save both time and money, and heighten fill rates, eliminate risk, and improve compliance.

Concentric Methods Earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval
Concentric Methods successfully completed an onsite certification review that was conducted by The Joint Commission on Monday, November 7. As a result, Concentric Methods earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for health care staffing services certification, which is valid for a two-year period effective November 11, 2016.
Certification preparations began in June 2016 and involved a team of representatives from Concentric Methods’ program management staff, and Cape Fox Shared Services’ human resources and business development staff. The group was responsible for gathering personnel file documentation, implementing new procedures such as emergency management plans, skills assessments, and health screenings, as well as tracking quality performance data. This effects Concentric Methods’ over 40 clinical staff who provide patient care at the National Institutes of Health, Occupational Medical Service; Fort Stewart, Georgia; Camp Pendleton, California; MCAS Miramar, California; and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
The Joint Commission offers an independent evaluation of a staffing firm’s abilities to provide competent staffing services. They review how we determine the qualifications and competency of our clinical staff, the placement of staff, and how we monitor performance. Going forward, Concentric Methods is responsible for performing monthly audits of personnel files, submitting data for The Joint Commission quality report, and maintaining compliance with national standards for certification participation, leadership, human resources management, information management, as well as performance measurement and improvement.
Joint Commission certification is starting to become a discriminating factor during the business development proposal process. Many agencies and healthcare facilities require contractors to follow Joint Commission requirements, and some are even requiring it as an evaluation factor for award. Concentric Methods is now one of only nine organizations in Virginia with this certification.
